The Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra (JCSO) announced the programing today for its 15th anniversary concert season! All concerts except for Music in Newtown Park will take place at the Johns Creek United Methodist Church, 11180 Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek. All programs, artists, dates, and locations are subject to change.
The orchestra’s 15th season will bring back Johns Creek favorites, like the JCSO “Christmas POPS” concert and the sensory-friendly “A Kids’ Christmas” concert; as well as new programs, like the new “Symphony Spook-tacular,” a family matinee concert.
“We’ve been given the opportunity to perform and share our passion of music with the Johns Creek community for 15 years now and hope to continue bringing world class music to the city for many more to come,” said Music Director J. Wayne Baughman. “From our debut season in 2007 to this celebratory 15th season, I am humbled and honored to direct such a masterful group of musicians impacting Johns Creek’s arts and culture.”
In anticipation of the 15th anniversary season, JCSO plans to host it’s first-ever Fundraising Gala celebration on Feb. 25, 2022 at St. Ives Country Club. Additional information about the Gala will be announced later in the season.
Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra cares about the health and welfare of our audience, volunteers, and musicians. We will continue to follow COVID-19 related governmental and CDC guidelines. JCSO has extended its “No Questions Asked” refund policy to ensure patrons have the ability to make their own decisions and cancel without penalty.
