A program of ambition, transformation, and taking flight featuring the Michael O’Neal Singers and violinist Simon Zhu, winner of the Premio Paganini—one of the most prestigious violin competitions in the world. The program includes music by Christopher Tin from the videogame Civilization IV, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, and Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.

The Soundcraft journey explores the intersection of music and technology, where students become creators alongside the orchestra. At its center is Minecraft x In C, a live reimagining of Terry Riley’s In C performed side-by-side with students and the orchestra inside the game of Minecraft, in real time.
