The Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra announced the appointment of Bill Abely and Stephen Miller to its Board of Directors for the 2024-2025 season.
“We are looking forward to having Bill Abely and Stephen Miller, two seasoned executives, join the board, as they each bring a wealth of experience with them,” said Johns Creek Symphony Board President Peter Hildebrandt. “As we transition to a new Music Director next season, this diverse Board of Directors will guide the JCSO to bring even better professional-level experiences to the area.”
Bill Abely will serve as Treasurer on the Board next season. Bill has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance focused on planning, analysis and sales support. He currently works for LeapFrog Services in the Finance area. Bill was born and raised in the Boston area. He earned a BA in history from Boston College and an MBA from Duke University. Following graduate school, Bill accepted a position with Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Florida. Subsequent to Harris Corporation, Bill has been employed by BellSouth, Intergraph Corporation, Nationwide Credit, Inc., Pathfire, and CSM Bakery Products.
Stephen Miller, a proud native of Alabama, was born and raised in the heart of the South, where hospitality and community were ingrained in his upbringing. He earned his bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Alabama, and he has served as Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Chief Professional Officer at the Boys and Girls Club throughout his career. For the past nine years, Stephen has served as an Assisted Living/Memory Care & Independent Living Executive Director, where his leadership and dedication have created a nurturing environment for seniors to thrive and feel at home.
